Cindy also completed a teacher training program in Yoga for Osteoporosis in 2014 at the Sivananda Yoga Ashram in the Bahamas.
Cindy’s yoga classes are slow, deep and meditative with the goal of increased awareness and peace. She accommodates all levels in her classes and encourages her students to honor themselves in their individual process.
Cindy presently teaches yoga at the Barn at Blanchard Farms in Westford, MA. Her classes are Tuesday 8am, Wednesday at 8 am and Thursdays at 7pm. All levels are welcome! Beginning January 29, 2018 Cindy will be teaching an Osteoporosis Yoga class.
She also teaches at the Chelmsford Senior Center where she has been teaching since 2004. Her classes are: Tuesday 11:30-Chair Yoga, Thursday 9:30am Yoga on the mat. Meditation class is held Thursdays at 10:45.
Cindy has a passion for laughter yoga. She heard about laugher yoga in a life force yoga teacher training and decided to train to be a laughter leader in 2009. What she did not anticipate was the powerful response that she would have to the practice. “I did not want to go another day without laughter”. She started a laughter club in Westford, MA called “Westford Laughs” in January of 2011. This club meets weekly and is and always will be free and open to all. You will find more information at www.Laughterisit.com where you will find a song that Cindy and Richard wrote about laughter yoga and much more. There is also a page on Facebook called Westford Laughs. Email address for all things laughter is firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cindy first began meditating in college. She has been involved in meditation groups, has co-lead meditation retreats in the past and has been teaching a weekly meditation class at the Chelmsford Senior Center in Chelmsford, MA for the past years.
Cindy has been practicing psychotherapy for 34 years, 29 of those years in private practice. She works with children, adolescents, individual adults and couples. Her office is located at 481 Great Rd in Acton. To contact her about an appointment you can call 978-266-1940 or email at email@example.com.
